I pulled a beautiful stunt the other night. Fred (Not Fred Mainini) is night watchman down at the boat yard so Hilda and I want down to see him the other night after a show. She elected me chauffeur so when I got out of the car, I put the keys in my top shirt pocket. When we got the the boat yard, Fred was showing us a new boat they had just launched.
It was about a 30 ft. boat. I leaned over form the dock to the boat when I did the boat moved away from the dock and I leaned way over so that the keys fell from my pocket into the water. The water was about twenty feet deep and then 3 feet of mud. What to do. There were the keys to the car, the room and the diner at the bottom of the ocean and we had no duplicate keys. There were no buses running. We walked home. She took the bus to the diner in the morning and got in through the window and opened the doors from the inside. By the way she borrowed a key from her landlady to get into her room. In the morning I got the number of the lock to the car and had keys made. To top it all off she said she didn't mind a bit. I don't know why she stands me. She's just a good sport I guess.
The feet, yes the feet are still improving but not as much as at first.
Love to all, "Bonehead"
P.S. That's for loosing the keys.
