Dear Mom,
We really lead a fast life. We get up at six o'clock. We're up and outside all dresses for reveille at three and one-half seconds past six. From that time on we don't stop running (I mean running) from drill to physical training, which includes running the 100 yard dash, broad jumping, chinning yourself 12 times, the cross-country that is over rough territory for 2 1/2 miles and all forms of exercise. We then run around a one mile drill field to give us a rest. We go to classes on the fly, study in double time and shave so fast that I shave 1/2 inch deep. Everybody hits the bed at 10 o'clock and dies. In the meantime the upperclass continues to heckle us underdogs. It certainly is a lot of fun though. There goes the bugle, I've got to cut it short.
As ever
