Hi Ma,

You know I like to receive letters but you shouldn't spoil me by enclosing money with them.

I just got in from a meeting we had in preparation for our inspection tomorrow. There will be a milling and one things that I can't seem to locate but Fred had this inspection today so I will be able to go over and borrow his things.

We have been here a week today and so far we have only left the camp once and that is a record for us. I still have $125 of my pay left. Just think of that.

What ever gave you the idea I had suddenly gone foolish enough to get married?
