Merry Christmas!
To one and all. It sure would have done my heart good if I could have wished you this in person.
Thanks a million for the gists. They were just what I needed. Here's hoping the turkey tasted fine. If Mom had anything to do with the dinner it must have been good.
If by chance you haven't noticed, that my address is different from the one I told you. The reason for it is that our orders were changed again shortly after I mailed the last letter.
We left Dale Mabry last night and got here this morning about 6. The bus ran out of gas once, other than that, it was a successful trip. They tell us we'll be here for two months or more. We're still going to fly the 47's.
We have tomorrow off and we all got over night passes tonight. I'm the only one out of the crew that came down that stayed in. As a matter of fact I believe that there's only about 12 people on the whole field. They all went to town to see if they couldn't find some one to invite out here for dinner tomorrow.
For myself, I enjoy writing to you people much more.
As Ever, Love and Kisses
