Dear Mom, Pop, Marie, Shirley, Avis,

Cheerio and all that sort of stuff you know. I took a short bicycle ride into the country Sunday afternoon. The scenery was really a sight to behold. Beautiful green fields up hill and down dale as they say. We met couple of girls that went along with us.

Some day I'll write down some things I need that I can't get over here. You can't get to send me anything unless I request it and you have to shot the letter to the post Office.

Is Charlie across yet?

The enlisted men and the A.T.S. That the British WACS, put on a stage show for us and is was pretty good. I also went to the post movie last night and saw "Sahara" with Humphrey Bogart.

We are really stowing away the knowledge here, that is as much as this thick skull of mine will hold.

Love & Kisses to One and All As Ever

Al
