Hi Ma,

Boy it sure would be swell to have remained in Milford for two or three weeks more. It has been too hot to even eat down here.

I went to Virginia last week but didn't get the plane ready to fly. I have a couple more hours of work on it yet.

Has anyone heard from Al? He should be pretty well settled now. I got a letter from Fred this week and he is still doing good.

This isn't much to write about except they did get me out on a 25 mile march from which I am still suffering. Tell Shirley that if I keep hiking I will be down to her side in no time.
