Dear Mom, Pop, Avis, Shirley, Marie,
We've been busier than the proverbial one armed paper hanger. I thought they kept us busy in the States but this place makes the States look like one big holiday.
I've been to town bot not for very long. It's OK but entirely different from what I had expected. I suppose you have read in the new papers about The Damn Yanks being rude to the English women. Let me tell you, I've yet to see one that I'd break my neck over, or even stumble over a little, but then I haven't seen very many.
We have a snack served every night at the club. This goes good just before going to bed, just like raiding the ice box.
If you see any of the old Grant gang, tell them hello for me. Ask them to come over here on their vacation and I'll have Hitler hold the war up for a bit.
When things begin to pop I'm going to kick that soap box out from old Hitler and have him break his neck. (I hope)
The censor won't pass the rest of my material, so I'll cut the switch off.
Love & Kisses As Ever
Al
