Dear Mom, Pop, Avis, Shirley, Marie,

How's the best family on the world and I'm not using flattery either. I've seen just about enough of this world and met enough people to know something about that.

How are you doing in school Marie? It's high school for you next year isn't it?

Shirley you must really be on the hop with graduation and all. I'll have to send you at least ten bucks and if you want it you can have more. Just let me know how much. It you want t hand  going through your future schooling, let me know and I'll allot it each month.

Avis you must be the sole owner of the Draper Corp. now. Did flirting with the boss help?

I'm mighty proud of our family picture and I show it off every chance I get. All the gang want to meet my sisters after the war is over. Can't blame them either.

I never hear much about what your doing Mom and Pop. You people can read more in the paper than I can tell you. So you stick to the newspaper for the war news and I'll try to keep it out of me letters.

I'm still with Mendenhall. He's good company and we have a lot of fun even on duty.

We're still eating good, we've a warm place to sleep and no worries.

How's Bill, Ruth, Louise and Cisco? Joan must be getting to be a young lady. How's Jean and her offspring doing? Does she hear from Howard?

Give my best to all the relatives.

The English, the few I've met are alright with me.

Love & Kisses As Ever

Al
