Hi Ma,

I just completed four of the sweetest days of my life. No doubt you know what I am talking about. Just in case you don't, I met Al or should I say I went up to see him. He is 200 miles from me but I got up there for a day and he came back down here for a day and a half. I went as far as to get a ring in his P-47. Boy what a thrill! Of course it only seats one but I sat in first and he sat in my lap to fly it.

You should have seen the look on his face when I walked into his office where he was on duty. I guess he couldn't believe it was me.
